Mike Kinney began his career in the fire service in 1997.  He is a certified State of Ohio Fire Inspector and throughout his career as a Firefighter has gained invaluable experience and knowledge about building construction before, during, and after a fire.  In 2014, Mike started PURE CRETE LLC. with close friend and fellow Firefighter Matt Sass.  Specializing in commercial, residential and industrial power washing they have purchased the best industrial grade equipment on the market along with taking various classes to be well versed in all aspects of the cleaning industry.  Mike has also taken classes to become a certified Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, along with Water Damage Restoration Technician. When asked his main reason for venturing into the restoration field, Kinney states, “As a Firefighter/Paramedic my instincts have always been to help people at all costs.  After a fire or flood has been controlled and life safety has been achieved, I’ve always felt helpless when speaking to the victims who have experienced so much loss.  In the past, I always thought to myself I hope an honest, empathetic person can help these people piece their lives and property back together.  When the opportunity arose to learn about the industry and become certified and I was certain we could be that company – a company whose main motivation is the customers comfortability and satisfaction.”
